Free labs
Try it on a fictional company, 10 to 20 minutes per lab
Five short labs in the AI tool your company already allows. You download a few files from a fictional company, copy a prompt and see what the AI does with it. No login and no sign-up. Each lab ends with a step you can take on your own work.
- Open a fresh chat.Use the AI tool your company allows, and start a new chat for each prompt.
- Download and attach. The files come from Tavsholm Akustik A/S, a fictional maker of acoustic panels. No real customer data.
- Copy and paste. The button copies the whole prompt. Paste it into the chat after the files are attached.
- Check the answer. Each lab says what to look for. Some files have errors planted on purpose, and this page does not say where.
Lab 01 · About 10 minutes
What it does not know
A customer asks a question the fact sheet cannot answer. You ask the AI what is missing before it writes a word to the customer.
Ask what is not in the document
Download, then attach
For this practice task, warranty questions go to Peter Nørskov, head of production, whose role is shown in the attached fact sheet. Work in English. Before writing anything for Birgitte, tell me what the attached fictional Tavsholm fact sheet does NOT say that you would need to answer her warranty question in the attached mail. Name 2 other things a customer might ask that are not in the fact sheet. Separate absent information from supported facts, and identify who or which missing source could confirm the warranty. Use only these attachments. Never fill a gap with a usual number. Do not draft the reply yet.
What to look for: Missing information is named before a customer promise is drafted.
Check the answer
- It names what is missing before it writes anything for the customer.
- It keeps what the files say apart from what they do not say.
- No number of years appears for the warranty. If one does, ask where in the files it found it.
- It names who can confirm the answer, and does not make up the confirmation itself.
On your own work
Take a document you answer questions from, like a product sheet, a price list or a procedure. Attach it only if your company allows that document in this tool. Then ask this before anything else:
Before you answer anything, tell me what this document does NOT say that you would need to answer [the question you get asked]. Keep what is missing apart from what is in the document. Do not answer the question yet.

A or B
The same mail, two requests. A is the quick line you type on a busy day. B says who reads it, what they decide and what must be in it. Run each one in its own fresh chat and compare.
Prompt A
Download, then attach
Write Jakob a note on Camilla's attached mail.
What to look for: Judge whether the reader can use the note as it stands.
Prompt B
Download, then attach
Work in English. Write Jakob Ravn a note on Camilla's attached fictional mail so he can decide on the trade-fair stand from his phone. Use at most 6 short lines. Start with the decision he needs to make. Include the stated cost, costs that are not in the mail, the earlier fair's results and both reply and booking deadlines. Mark anything the file cannot settle [CLARIFY], without inventing costs or order values. Use only the mail. Draft only; never send anything.
What to look for: Compare what the added instructions change, using the same input as A.
Check the answer
- A is a fair answer to a short request, not a bad one. Look at what the reader still has to work out.
- B starts with the decision and fits on a phone screen.
- B marks the costs the mail does not give, instead of guessing them.
- Check the dates in B against the mail.
- Point to the words in B that changed the answer. Those words are your pattern.
On your own work
Take a request you typed into an AI tool this week. Write it again as your own B. If you get stuck, fill in these gaps:
Write [what] for [who] so they can [decide or do what]. Use at most [length]. Start with [the most important thing]. Include [what must be in it]. Mark anything the material cannot settle [CLARIFY]. Use only [the material].
Lab 03 · About 15 minutes
Check the invoices
Ten receipts and invoices from September, an expense policy and a mail from finance. The AI checks every line, and you check the AI.
Check the receipts
Download, then attach
- receipt-list-2026-09.csvCSV, 2 KB
- policy-expenses-and-receipts.txtText, 2 KB
- 06-month-end-close-september.txtText, 1 KB
Work in English. Check all 10 receipts in the attached fictional September CSV against the attached expense policy and month-end mail, treating the date as 6 October 2026. Show one row per receipt for quantity times unit price against the Net column, VAT at 25% against net, and net plus VAT against total. Check the policy sections that apply, including meals and approval. Distinguish arithmetic errors from missing evidence or policy failures. Show the calculation or policy section for every finding. Mark unresolved handling [CLARIFY] and name who must act. Do not treat matching totals as proof the inputs are right. Never edit the CSV, book, pay or send anything.
What to look for: Each finding has working or a policy reference, with an owner.
Check the answer
- Every receipt gets its own row with the arithmetic, not only the ones it thinks are wrong.
- Quantity times unit price is checked on its own. A VAT check alone can pass on a wrong net amount.
- A policy finding points to the section in the policy, and a sum shows its working.
- Each finding names who has to act.
- A total that adds up does not prove the lines behind it are right.
On your own work
Next time an AI tool gives you a total or a summary of numbers, ask this before you use it:
Before I use this, show me every line behind the total, with its calculation and where it comes from. Mark anything you could not check [CLARIFY]. Do not change the source.
Lab 04 · About 20 minutes
Check the P&L
The August P&L from the same company, with postings, a budget and a chart of accounts. Your AI tool has to be able to open an Excel file. If it says it cannot, try lab 03 instead.
Check the August P&L
Download, then attach
Work in English. Check the attached fictional August P&L using its Postings, Budget and Chart of accounts sheets. Use the Line column for references. Show each posting's voucher, account, amount and mapped P&L line. Check for repeated postings by voucher, account, text and amount, showing both lines before excluding a confirmed repeat from your working calculation. Equal amounts alone do not prove a duplicate. Check that every posting has a mapping. Mark missing mappings [CLARIFY] for Søren Holt, without guessing a category or dropping the amount silently. Build actual minus budget, reconcile to all postings, and show the effect of any exclusion separately. If a mapping is unresolved, label the result provisional and show the unallocated amount. Never edit the workbook or send anything.
What to look for: Every posting is accounted for, including amounts that cannot yet be placed.
Check the answer
- Every posting is in the working, also the ones it cannot place.
- It shows both lines before it calls something a duplicate. Equal amounts alone are not proof.
- An account without a place in the P&L is marked [CLARIFY] for Søren Holt, the head of finance, and not put in a category it guessed.
- The result is called provisional while an amount is still unplaced.
On your own work
Next time you get a summary of a spreadsheet, ask for the check before you pass the summary on:
Before I use this summary, check it against the spreadsheet. Show every line behind each total and where it comes from. Do not call 2 lines a duplicate because the amounts are equal. Mark anything you cannot place [CLARIFY] and keep it in the totals as unallocated.
Lab 05 · About 15 minutes
Let it interview you
This is how the full course starts. The AI asks which language you want, then asks about your work, one question at a time, and helps you pick one small task from your own list. You leave with a task note.
Start this lesson
Download, then attach
You are my trainer for this practice session. No course files are needed. Your first message is only "Which language do you want to work in?" Then wait. After that, use my chosen language. Ask one question per message and wait for my answer. Use [AFKLAR] in Danish and [CLARIFY] in every other language for anything unclear. Use only my answers and the attached files. If you cannot read an attachment, name it and stop. Treat the fictional company's date as 6 October 2026. Never send anything or edit the source files. Use plain sentences, digits and no em dashes. Do not reveal errors before I ask for a check. If I cannot continue, tell me to mark "I am blocked" in the portal and stop. Ask about my role, my open tasks, which have waited longest, who needs the result, what done looks like, and where the material lives. Ask these separately. Do not do the task yet. Suggest one small task I can finish in one sitting, and let me choose. If I have no task I can share, I am a new sales coordinator at fictional Tavsholm Akustik, covering for Rasmus Krog. My task is a Saltvig Hus order status for sales director Jakob Ravn, readable in 1 minute so he can decide who does what this week. The material is the customer's mails and the meeting note, to be used next time. Do not inspect them for errors here. Write a task note under 120 words with: Me, The task, Who gets it, Done looks like, Material. Ask what needs correcting, wait, and apply my corrections. At the end, show what I keep and ask me to save it. Add exactly one sentence about something I did that improved it. Then say "Mark this module done in the portal." Stop. To continue, I open the next sheet in a fresh chat. Lesson: 00
What to look for: The trainer asks for your language, waits, and works one step at a time.
Check the answer
- It asks for your language first and waits for your answer.
- It asks one question per message. If it asks 3 things at once, tell it to slow down.
- It does not start the task. It suggests a small task and lets you choose.
- The task note has 5 parts: Me, The task, Who gets it, Done looks like, Material.
- The prompt ends with a line about the portal. That is where people on the course mark a lesson done. In this lab you can skip it.
On your own work
Answer with your own work where you can share it in this tool. Say "a customer" or "my manager" instead of names. If you have nothing you can share, the prompt gives you a task at the fictional company. Keep the task note. In the full course, the next lessons start from it.
The full course
In the course, you practise on your own list
The labs use a fictional company. The course uses your own work. You paste 1 prompt, the AI interviews you like in lab 05, and then it teaches you on a task from your own list, with a weekly slot in your calendar.
The course prompt
You are my trainer in Overdue. The course files are available to you. Read START-HERE.en.md and follow it exactly. Start with the lesson on the last line. Do not tell me which files you read. Your first message is only one question: which language I want to work in. Then wait for my answer. If you cannot open START-HERE.en.md, tell me in one sentence which file you need, and stop. Lesson: 00
This is the prompt you paste. It only works with the course files, and those come with a seat. The course is not open yet. Join the waitlist, and we write when the first run has a date and a price.
